128 Hz Weighted Tuning Fork
A versatile starting point for weighted forks.
A weighted 128 Hz aluminium fork for beginners and experienced listeners who want to explore the relationship between audible tone and contact vibration. A single instrument is enough to learn activation, holding and a short practice.
What you receive
- One 128 Hz weighted tuning fork.
- A storage pouch and rubber mallet are included with each fork.
- Gemstone and aluminium massage attachments are sold separately. Installation photos may show optional accessories.
Frequency character & reasons to choose it
128 Hz is one octave above 64 Hz and two octaves above 32 Hz. If you later expand your collection, these three create a straightforward 1:2:4 family of related pitches.
Choose 128 Hz when you want a higher pitch within our low-frequency weighted range. The practical value is a simple, repeatable instrument for focusing on vibration, listening and the return to silence.
A weighted fork is intended here for personal sensory practice, not diagnosis or medical treatment. A higher frequency does not automatically mean stronger contact vibration.
Materials, accuracy & studio care
- One-piece CNC-machined 2A11 aluminium-alloy fork body, with a silver-tone finish.
- Weighted forks: frequency tolerance within ±1 Hz at 20°C.
- Each fork is tuned and frequency-checked before dispatch. Ask our studio about testing if you would like more detail.
Our independent studio coordinates specifications, production, tuning, inspection, engraving and packing. Custom frequencies and quantity orders are welcome; confirm feasibility and timing before purchase.
A simple practice & everyday care
- Hold only the handle. Keep the prongs and any tip weights free.
- Activate with a gentle tap from the included rubber mallet, or a suitable soft activator placed on a stable table. Do not strike the fork on hard surfaces.
- Listen in a quiet space at a comfortable distance. Let the tone fade before repeating.
For a tactile practice, rest the handle tip or a securely fitted attachment lightly on your palm or forearm. A weighted fork can be quieter in the air while still providing a noticeable contact vibration. More pressure is not needed.
Leave the calibrated tip weights in their factory positions. Do not loosen or reposition them. An attachment screw is separate from the fork’s tuning weights.
Keep dry, wipe with a soft cloth and store in the included pouch. Avoid drops, impacts and use on injured or irritated skin. Stop if uncomfortable.
Free engraving & help choosing
Make the fork your own with a name, short inscription or studio logo. Engraving is free and does not change its tuned frequency. Contact us with your text, font and placement; confirm any special requirements before ordering.
